Assimilating best water consumption practices in Bangalore

Client: Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB)

Objective: the project aimed to examine how the lifestyle change approach by assimilating best water consumption practices will influence the customers and assist them to reduce the electricity consumption

About the project: study under taken up for BWSSB in Jayanagar 3rd, 4th and 5th Block. Preliminary findings of the study presented to BWSSB and final report is prepared and submitted. The findings indicates that about 92% of the respondents have positively responded to life style changes and agreed to save water by adopting simple practices. The study approached 2138 consumers, out of this 1042 (48%) have been put under daily and weekly monitoring. While analyzing impact of life style changes on water consumption during monitoring period of five months (June 2009 to Oct 2009), 530 consumers could save watere to extent of 9.32%. the quantity of water saved was 8.48

National Green Skills Conference 2017

                 "Green Skills for Green Economy" 

                   6th & 7th July 2017 @ NIMHANS Convention Centre , Bangalore

CSD in association with NSDC successfully conducted the National Green Skills Conference,2017. More than 200 participants and 50 delegates from various Renewable energy and skill development institutions attended the two days long conference and made it a grand success.
