CSD brought various exciting and enriching events this year, focused on sparking conversations
about the critical topic of Climate action and the urgency for it in recent times.
Making the successful Sustainability Leadership Summit an annual occurrence, CSD organized
the Summit this year on 26th November with the theme “Climate Emergency – Call for Action”.
As part of the annual events, CSD also conducted the Second edition of the National Youth
Climate Conclave, culminating on 25th November this year with the final round that brought
together students from across the country competing in the mock conference of parties in line
with the COP29 at Baku.

The Climate Leadership Summit 2024

The Climate Leadership Summit saw eminent dignitaries from the Government, International
Organizations, Academic institutions, students, officials from Non-Governmental and Private

Second Edition of the National Youth Climate Conclave, 2024

The National Youth Climate Conclave, a mock Conference of Parties that aims to engage youth
in the subject of Climate Change and Climate Emergency this year. Organization of the event
involved a facilitator group, UN leaders (mockery), students representing various countries and
interest groups (NGOs/CSOs) and negotiation was headed by UN Chair, Co-Chair and Experts.
Every team had 4 members from various disciplines such as Environmental /Agricultural,
Biological, Chemical /Medical Sciences, Energy, Sustainability Science, Engineering and
Architecture, etc.

Qualified teams in the preliminary rounds conducted regionally and virtually participated in the
Finals of the National Youth Climate Conclave 2024 on 25th November, 2024 that was
conducted in association with St. Francis College, Koramangala, Bengaluru.
